About Me

I’ve doodled since I was a kid growing up in Ohio and now I live and paint in Brooklyn, NY.

Art has been a constant companion and a useful mirror for mind and heart. Though it’s not conscious, stuff I make from a given moment in my life answers the question: where am I looking for beauty or meaning right now?

I think my art is sincere and whimsical. It romanticizes the world. I’m pretty jokey in person, but I’ve learned it’s ok to take life seriously sometimes and really I think art was my first (and sometimes only) way I could do that.
